Artist Statement:
This painting reflects the emotional journey of a husband and wife as they
travel through life side by side. Marriage is never defined by a single
emotion; it is a balance of love and misunderstanding, joy and sorrow, hope and
uncertainty. The contrasting colours and overlapping faces represent the many
stages of a relationship, where every challenge strengthens understanding and
every happy moment deepens their bond. Through this abstract composition, I
celebrate the resilience, patience, and unconditional commitment that keep two
people together as they grow through life’s changing seasons.
